One minor quibble - we southpaws throw hooks with the RIGHT (lead) hand, and throw our powerful straight punches with the (rear-side) left. One can get away with a left overhand punch, but trying to throw a true left hook will inevitably lower your guard enough to put you at risk of getting clobbered by your right-handed opponent's left hook!
